GW Hillel Seeks Graphic Design Intern

Position Title: Graphic Design Intern


Position Description:
GW Hillel seeks a graphic design intern to help with the re-branding of the organization on campus. Projects will include the creation of marketing materials and logos for two major campus initiatives; additional projects to be added as needed.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in graphic design and non-profit organizations. The intern will be able to expand their portfolio while supporting a rapidly evolving organization. The position offers great exposure to the inner workings of a non-profit with supportive supervision and leadership development.

Initiative is on the GW campus with flexible hours; 5-10 requested per week.


Qualifications:
• Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Flash, Photoshop or other similar programs; intern must have access to one such program on their personal computer

• Attention to detail with willingness/patience to edit as needed

• Familiarity with web design, marketing/branding experience a plus

• Available for approximately 5-10 hours/week

• Intern is not required to be a GW student

Corcoran Gallery Seeking Interns for Summer 2011

The Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, DC is currently accepting applications for the Summer 2011 session. The summer internship program runs for ten weeks from early June through mid-August and is open to juniors and seniors in college, graduate students, and students between academic degree programs. The program is an excellent way to gain first hand museum experience for those intending to pursue careers in the arts. The summer program includes weekly panel discussion with Corcoran staff and visits to local Washington, DC arts organizations to meet experts in other artistic fields. The summer internship requires a full-time commitment from interns who work 9 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday and the internship is unpaid.

• Education
• Finance & Administration
• Marketing
• Public Relations
• Special Events
• And More
Students from all academic majors are encouraged to apply.
