Position: Student Intern (Unpaid)
Air Force Graphics is looking for a summer intern to assist with graphic arts support to the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, the Secretary of the Air Force, and Major Commands, in areas of design, illustration, publication, presentation and display services. We are a full service Adobe centric graphics shop. Duties will include assisting and in certain cases taking the lead in the production and final output of posters, displays, and large signage. Interns are expected to create design work, handle edits and revisions, and assist senior designers in a graphics environment. We are interested in junior and senior level undergraduate candidates, who possess knowledge of MacOSx, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign, with Dreamweaver and Flash being a great plus! Interns must demonstrate excellent writing and organization skills, and pay great attention to detail.
Although this is an unpaid internship, it is a great way to build up your portfolio, experience working in a professional environment with a variety of clientele (military and civilian), and there is always a chance that a position will open up in the future!
Internship schedules are flexible; however, we are seeking an individual who is able to commit working a minimum of 20 hours per week. Our business hours are 8:00am – 4:15pm.
