Hours: Hours are flexible and can be completed for academic credit. Interns may work remotely but requires at least 4-6 hours of work a week done in-house for creative and staff meetings. Interns are encouraged to work in-house to get the most out of their internship.

Graphic Design Internship

Description:
This internship is designed for students with an interest in visual arts, advertising, graphic design and web design. Under the supervision of the Communications Director, the Graphic Design Intern will create graphics for the Centerpointe Brand Campaign 2012.

Internship responsibilities:
Responsibilities include designing content for Centerpointe Church’s new website, promotional materials, sermon series, email blasts and social media accounts for the campaign.

Eligibility:
Interns must possess a good eye for aesthetic design; be a proficient user of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), be comfortable in a Mac environment; and be able to meet deadlines. Language skills, knowledge of social media, Mac products and mobile technology are a plus for this internship. The intern needs to be proactive, have good organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks.

Compensation:
This is an unpaid internship. Interns will have the opportunity to participate in creative projects and increase the size of their portfolio with work completed for a very creative church in Fairfax, Virginia. This internship also provides opportunities to expand their skills into other mediums (cinematography, video production and photography).
