Allison Coates, a former AVT student now working for Theory in NYC, has notified me of the following opportunity: Theory is looking for a Fall intern in our department. I work in Creative, we do all the branding, advertising, and visual marketing for the Theory brand and Helmut Lang, another brand owned by Theory. We work on an extremely wide variety of projects like mailers, window displays, store signage, posters, e-mail blasts, logos, events, etc. We are looking for a design intern that is sufficient with all Adobe programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), has an eye for modern, clean design, and an interest in fashion.
The internship takes place in New York City, so obviously the candidate should be in the area for the duration of the internship. It’s open to students and post grads. The dates are flexible, but it usually goes from September through November.
